Privacy Policy
Alamo Mobile ("Alamo Mobile," "we," "us," or "our") is a brand of Alamo Broadband Inc. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information about you when you use Alamo Mobile wireless services, our websites, and our customer portals (collectively, the "Services").
Alamo Mobile uses Comtrend Corporation and its network partner, OXIO, to provide the underlying wireless network. OXIO processes certain personal information on our behalf as a data processor. As the mobile brand you directly subscribe to, Alamo Mobile is responsible for privacy matters relating to your personal information as a consumer.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Account Information. Your name, billing address, service address, email address, phone number, date of birth, government-issued identification (where required for identity verification or number portability), payment method, and account credentials.
Service Usage Information. Information about your use of our wireless services, including data volume, voice minutes, SMS/MMS counts, call records (phone numbers dialed or received, time and duration), approximate location when required for service delivery, roaming activity, and device information (IMEI, ICCID, make, model).
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). Information about the type, destination, location, amount of use, and technical configuration of the services you subscribe to. CPNI is protected under Section 222 of the Communications Act of 1934, and we treat it accordingly. We do not use your CPNI for marketing purposes other than our own categories of service without your approval.
Payment Information. Payment card numbers, billing addresses, and transaction history. Payment card data is processed through PCI-compliant third-party processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.
Device and Technical Information. Browser type, IP address, device identifiers, operating system, and cookies or similar technologies when you use our online services.
Communications. Records of your interactions with our customer support, including chat transcripts, emails, and call recordings (where permitted and disclosed).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, activate, maintain, and bill for wireless services
- Authenticate you and prevent fraud
- Respond to customer service inquiries and technical support requests
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting, 911/E911 service delivery, lawful intercept requirements, and regulatory filings
- Send service-related notices (activation, billing, outages, policy changes)
- Improve our services and develop new offerings
- Enforce our Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy
- With your consent, send marketing communications about our products and services
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your communications (voice, text, or data) for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
Network Partners. We share necessary information with Comtrend, OXIO, and their underlying carrier partners (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile) to provision, operate, and maintain your wireless service.
Service Providers. We use third-party vendors for billing, payment processing, customer support, fraud prevention, analytics, and hosting. These vendors are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.
Legal Compliance. We may disclose information in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to comply with regulatory obligations; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Alamo Mobile, our customers, or others; and in connection with a lawful intercept request under CALEA.
911 and Emergency Services. When you place a 911 call, we transmit location information to emergency responders as required by law.
Business Transfers. If Alamo Mobile is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy commitments.
With Your Consent. In any other circumstances where you have given us permission.
We do not share your CPNI with third parties for marketing unless you have provided explicit consent.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Call detail records and other network records are retained for the periods required by federal and state law, typically between 18 months and 7 years depending on the record type.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion. Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt-Out of Marketing. Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
- CPNI Opt-Out. Instruct us not to use your CPNI for marketing our own categories of service.
California Residents. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

6. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children Under 13
Alamo Mobile services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Cookies and Tracking
Our websites and customer portal use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate users, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice on our website or customer portal. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance.
